Calls to Investigate Hillary for Committing Purgery Emanate from Congress

Hillary Clinton’s escape from federal charges was supposed to be a victorious moment for the Clinton campaign. Instead, they emerged to discover that nearly 60% of the United States thought that the Justice Department had made the wrong decision.

Now, it looks as if those Americans may see Hillary charged with a federal crime, after all.

Reps. Jason Chaffetz (R-UT), chairman of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, and Bob Goodlatte (R-VA), chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, have asked the U.S. Attorney’s office to investigate Clinton’s sworn testimony before Congress.

In a letter to U.S. Attorney Channing Phillips signed by Chaffetz and Goodlatte, Congress asked the court to open an investigation to determine whether Clinton committed perjury:

“Dear Mr. Phillips:

We write to request an investigation to determine whether Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton committed perjury and made false statements during her testimony under oath before congressional committees.

While testifying before the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform on July 7, 2016, Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Director James Comey stated the truthfulness of Secretary’s testimony before Congress was not within the scope of the FBI’s investigation. Nor had the FBI even considered any of Secretary Clinton’s testimony…”

Should this investigation begin, finding Clinton guilty would be a near certainty — unless she pulls favors once again. She may be an awful candidate, but she’s fantastically crooked.
