California liberals are it again, this time going after ammunition instead of guns.
In a new legislation called the “Safety for All Act of 2016” voters will be able to ban the possession of magazines with a capacity greater than 10 rounds and mandate that everybody in California get a “firearms purchaser certificate” in order to buy ammunition, which will not only cost up to $50.00 and take two months to get, it’ll also put you in a database for law enforcement.
See what else it entails on the next page.
The article is wrong about the 14th Amendment and taking this to the SCOTUS.
It would be a state law,not a Federal law,and therefore, would be ineligible to be heard by SCOTUS unless it is challenged as a violation of the 2nd Amendment. That verdict would only be good for California, but could be used as a precident for other States to use should they wish to pursue a similar law.
Thought process?
F**k their laws and$#%&!@*their database.
I dont give a$#%&!@*what future stupid laws those idiots want to pass. I will NEVER give up my guns
Arizona is starting to look really good.
Might get shot, but hey, go for it
Just leave it to California to do this.
Hey I know let’s make crime illegal that’ll fix it
Why don’t we just give California back to Mexico.
That’s how it starts. The more taxes and fees they add. The harder they make it to purchase guns and ammunition people will stop buying. They won’t come take your guns. They’ll just tax the$#%&!@*out of you so you stop buying
