Unable to even countenance the possibility of Donald Trump being president, Californian liberals are openly floating the idea of seceding from the union. Although this might come as a shock after all the grief they gave conservatives for considering similar measures in Texas, it shouldn’t when one remembers that Democratic governor Jerry Brown claimed that California would have to build a wall to protect itself in the event of a Trump victory:
