The deep divisions that exist within the America electorate have manifested themselves in a number of ways in the aftermath of Donald Trump’s historic victory in the presidential election. Perhaps the reactions are the strongest in the days immediately following the election itself, with people later settling down after they decide that while they despise the results, the world didn’t end.
That’s the normal reaction, but the 2016 election was extraordinary. So perhaps we’re going to get something other than the “normal” reaction this time around.
It certainly looks that way in California, and forces gathering for change are examined on page two.

We will be moving to Oregon if that happens – I don’t plan on giving up my social security and my retirement and medicare – which of course will stop once you all become an independent nation. And I feel relatively certain many of the smart people will leave also – my social security and pers retirement may not be much but it is better than I would have living in the new state. And I have health issues that need medicare and blue cross.
Let em secede…and the minute their officially an independent nation BOMB the$#%&!@*out of them! They shouldn’t end up with our west coast. I’m sick of all these whiny, ignorant losers. Let them go…. pull all the military bases cut the boarders off so there is no travel outside its boarder with the rest of the United States.
No fly zones over US Airspace and no entry into Kalifornia because it’s now a foreign nation.
Dam EVERY river entering Kalifornia because that water did not originate there and naturally a Naval Blockade of the coast because now they are a threat to National Security
On the east side of California highway 5 the majority of people are conservative republicans who have no representation, which is why the state of California needs to be broken into smaller States.
