The deep divisions that exist within the America electorate have manifested themselves in a number of ways in the aftermath of Donald Trump’s historic victory in the presidential election. Perhaps the reactions are the strongest in the days immediately following the election itself, with people later settling down after they decide that while they despise the results, the world didn’t end.
That’s the normal reaction, but the 2016 election was extraordinary. So perhaps we’re going to get something other than the “normal” reaction this time around.
It certainly looks that way in California, and forces gathering for change are examined on page two.

There is no way they would secede from the Union because they are the most bankrupt state in the Union and their economy would collapse in one day
Well if d,c took all the work out of California like O b. Took the coal jobs where would that state be think about that ,But ,,,,Trump is A better man then that, Go,,,,,Trump
If they want to be separate from the rest of the U.S. they should have no say over the rest of the country.
Can’t they do that now?
Good luck with that….
Good,,their in the Bankruptcy state anyways and we dont need to bail out any more
And with that? Where does LA get its water and electricity? It comes from out of State….
California would be a desert if not for irrigation.
Let them leave. They’ll become a 3rd World$#%&!@*hole in 2 years, and we’ll be catching them jumping the border.
Can’t wait !!!
Where do I sign
please go. they forget…all the freebies the rest of this country is mostly paying for comes to a halt. when they “ask” to come back it will be only if they finally act like Americans.
