California Assembly Votes to Allow Communists to Work for the State

Communism is making a comeback in the United States, apparently.  In California, Assemblyman Rob Bonta (D-Alameda) has introduced a bill to the California Assembly that makes it perfectly fine to allow admitted and avowed Communists to work for the state.

In a bid for more diversity of spirit (I assume) the California Assembly has said that the provision in an old Cold War-era bill that was passed during the “Red Scare” days of America, that bans the hiring by the state of avowed Communists, is no longer applicable.  Communists dedicated to the cause have now been given the green light to hit the California State Worker websites with their resumes because it is National Communist Hiring Day on the Left Coast!

The California Assembly, although having passed this horrible and ridiculous waste of taxpayer money, is not a complete lost cause, however.  Assemblyman Travis Allen (R-Huntington Beach) raised concerns over the bill.

“This bill is blatantly offensive to all Californians,” said Assemblyman Travis Allen, a Republican who represents a coastal district in Southern California. “Communism stands for everything that the United States stands against.”

Assemblyman Randy Voepel, a Southern California Republican who fought in the Vietnam War, said communists in North Korea and China are “still a threat.”

While the bill assured that workers could still be fired for being members of organizations they know advocate for overthrowing the government by force or violence, they insisted that “Communism is Caring” by passing this asinine waste of time.  And personally, if someone is thinking of overthrowing the government by force or violence (can you say 90% of the Leftist protesters and rioters today) I would hope that we’re not just firing these people, but prosecuting them with treasonous or terrorist activity.
QUESTION:  If I’ve killed someone, does that get me to the front of the hiring line?
