The battle over the status and disposition of illegal aliens is accelerating. Liberals simply cannot get enough of these people. If Nancy Pelosi and her allies could hire buses to bring them into America from Mexico, the only question would be how many hundreds of busses she would lease. These are future Democratic voters, and nothing must be permitted to hamper the left’s voter drive. Not even the law.
And do not doubt for a minute that the ultimate goal of the liberals is to grant voting rights to illegals. These are often welfare recipients, and they can be counted on to reward the hands that feed them. We can already anticipate the refrain we will hear from Democrats: “These people work and pay taxes. Shouldn’t they vote?”
