After a six month legal battle between a pair of cafe owners and their Muslim neighbor, Graham Web-Lee has been settled in the couple’s favor. The complaint?
The cafe produces a bacon smell that is ‘offensive’.
Graham Web-Lee complained that the cafe’s extractor fan, which forces out the cooking bacon smell from the cafe, was bothering him and his family, and was bothering his Muslim friends so much that they felt “physically sick.”
After inspectors visited the cafe and declared everything was fine, Web-Lee continued to complain until it was discovered that the cafe owners had never applied for planning permission to install the new extractor fan.
After the decision of the court, Web-Lee remains frustrated, saying his was concerned for his family and that his house stinks of “vile cooking smells.”

If you’re getting your news from a website that includes the word “Truth”, then it’s a good bet that’s not what you’re getting. The plaintiff in this case is not Muslim but the cafe owner’s husband is. The complaint was not about bacon but about the smell from an exhaust fan blowing just feet from his house. None of his friends would visit… including but not limited to Muslims… would visit because of the smell and the smell was what was making his family sick but not because it was “offensive” pork. Muslims don’t eat pork (nor do the Jewish) but they’re not “offended” by it nor do they think that touching pork or being covered in pigs blood when they die condemns them to Hell. The Quran even cites circumstances in which it is permissible to eat pork. Heck, last year I received a sausage tray for Christmas from a Muslim friend. Knowledge is power folks but ignorance is slavery…. don’t work so hard to be slaves.
