Should you as a parent be informed that your elementary school child would be attending a gay pride school assembly – complete with a gay choir singing about homosexual freedom?
Many parents are outraged when the Glenview Elementary school in Oakland, California didn’t inform them that their kids, as young as 5, would be mandated to attend a recent school assembly where the gay lifestyle would be promoted.

I’m with you Sonny!
This is what our country is coming to and yet they cant pledge allegiance to our flag one Nation under GOD?????
I would take my kids out! That is a matter of choice right or wrong. They have a Father and Mother to teach them not the School. I did say a Father and Mother!
California should be ashame of themselves for their whacko $#%&!@*s they been doing !!
i would take my kid outta that POS school
This is an outrage!
do what you want to yourself .dont force it on me and especially my kids . also that $#%&!@* is gross
Not my kids I guarantee that
NO one has the right to teach my child something that i have not approved before hand. How can you teach about about some thing like this to an elementary school assembly? when it comes to sex ed. the parents have to sign a paper saying that their child can participate; this assembly is along the same lines and should have been treated as such. now 5 year old children from that school have an idea of what sex is. WAY TO GO! teach a 5 year old child early that sex is ok and now watch how many of them turn up pregnant in middle school or high school. Really the board of education and the administrative staff from that school should be ashamed of them selves. What took place in that school assembly goes against the code of conduct that teachers have to follow so why is the administration allowed to get away with this breach in ethics? I will be making damn sure that my children are not exposed to something that i deem unnecessary to their education.
we are allowing filth in our schools now? I am glad I am no longer a child growing up today.
