Although Christmas is universally celebrated across America and is a federally recognized holiday the Obama regime has directed the military to forbid personnel to say “Christmas”.
Armed forces officials justified the order by explaining that not everyone celebrates Christmas, so soldiers referring to Christmas celebrations using the generic term “holiday”-themed festivities is a sign of respect for them.
The prohibition is not an isolated change, but may be the most noteworthy in the context of a sweeping push for political correctness in the military. Recent examples of serious consequences of this political correctness agenda in the military include Navy Chaplain Wes Modder who was reprimanded for simply discussing religion, as chaplains are wont to do, with military personnel.
See how servicemen have reacted to not being allowed to say Christmas at the link below:
Wanna make a bet that the men and women in the military will say Merry Christmas
You tell him Jeff
I would like to know how he can stop anyone from saying Merry Christmas, I thought we had freedom of speech.
Who made him GOD ???
I have said MERRY CHRISTMAS for 65 years, and will continue saying MERRY CHRISTMAS until the day i die!!!!!! MERRY CHRISTMAS to the military!
He Did
Mr. Stanley, I wish you well as you fall for Obama’s line. His words tell on themselves as you view recent history and see the disasterous results of his “Lead from behind” policies. He has admitted to cutting morning meetings short because they are the worst part of his day, thus he goes forth uninformed. Did you not know he has forbidden the use of the name of Jesus Christ in military services? Did you not know that he tried to ban the word “Christmas” in government and VA buildings? Sir, this, unless I totally misunderstand the United States Constitution, is a violation of the First Amendment in both freedom of religion and freedom of speech. His absolutely misguided assertions that all the problems in the Mid East are due to global warming are ludicrous. I am glad you enjoyed my diatribe, however, I remember JFK, I remember “Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country.” I remember the pride and strength of Ronald Reagan. Please sir, in all your wisdom compare the standing of America with JFK, Ronald Reagan. Look today, Babies killed when halfway born, “Black Lives Matter”, children being forced to dress as muslims and write and read muslim prayers. I can just imagine the outcry if we did the same for Jewish or Christian beliefs. Look at the growth of hatred just in this country, person against person. Look at the mistrust, Democrats and Republicans can no longer engage in a civil discussion to solve problems. It is a laudable accomplishment now to use your post in Congress to lie to destroy a man in the opposing party and do it purposely. This is not the America I grew up with. I am sorry you do not know that America. It was a place of happiness, of patriotism, of pride. A far cry from what we have today. I long for the pride, I long for the sense of responsibility as opposed to the sense of entitlement. I apologize for any errors in grammar or spelling, but I believe my message is clear. We have not gone forward in any way, but woefully backward in civil rights, in race relations, in education, in economic ability of the family, in every way.
Stupid. They will like the rest of the country that love America…
OHHH YESSS WE CAN !!!!!!
