Burisma Holdings Lobbied Obama/Clinton State Department to Fire Prosecutor

There’s really not a lot of gray area when you’re talking about a man who bragged that he was singularly responsible for forcing the Ukraine government to fire a special prosecutor who was investigating the company for which his own son worked.

Joe Biden, former vice president under Barack Hussein Obama, is not a brilliant man. Nor is he a very tactful one. If he was as taciturn as he is touch-feely, this whole situation with Burisma Holdings may never have been a vehicle by which the Republicans seem to have weaponized against his campaign. As it is, reality opens a different avenue of possibilities. Biden is a very loud-mouth braggart, much akin to our own beloved president. The glaring difference between them, however, is that one is a political outsider who does things based almost purely on fairness, equality and good intentions, while the other is a political lifer who does things based almost purely on political expediency and self-benefit.

Trump is well known to have a business expertise that is unmatched in the real estate building field. What he also has is an uncanny ability to connect with people on a very organic and authentic level. This combination was the recipe by which he was able to defeat the Democratic war machine that placed all its financial and activist weight behind Hillary Clinton. For the nearly one-billion-dollar price tag attached to the Clinton effort, the Democrats really ended up the greatest loser in this last decade.

Joe Biden, the man with whom the Democrats have made a dark alliance, holds none of these very sacred qualities that make Trump Trump. Biden finds these qualities, not only elusive, but quite frankly, repulsive. He shares many of the negative attributes for which he slams Trump, yet his political supporters are attempting to convince the American people that he is superiorly qualified to lead the nation, simply by virtue of the fact that he has “served this nation” for so long. In the books of most Americans these days, that very fact is what drives Biden’s numbers into a downward spiral.

New documents have now surfaced that are even more troubling for the presidential wannabe. It has been revealed that Burisma Holdings, the corrupt Ukrainian energy company that employs Hunter Biden, contacted the Obama/Clinton State Department directly, complaining about the special prosecutor, Viktor Shokin, who was assigned by the government there to look into money laundering and corruption charges. Their plea to the Obama/Clinton government was clear: “Get this prosecutor off our backs…now!”

It is now apparent that then Vice President Joe Biden dutifully obeyed. Less than one month after this contact was made, Biden traveled to Ukraine and demanded that they fire Shokin. Within a few short months, the deed was done and his son, Hunter, no longer had any reason to sweat this prosecutor. Amazingly, Biden then boasted about this encounter, saying that he threatened the Ukraine leader with a six-hour window. In essence, he bragged, “If you don’t fire this guy, you can kiss that one-billion in military aid goodbye!” This is one of many reasons why President Trump wanted to know what was happening in Ukraine at the time all this was going on, and still would like some resolution on what role they played in this whole Russia-Collusion hoax perpetrated on the American people.

New documents have revealed a massive lobbying effort at the Obama-era State Department by Ukrainian energy company Burisma. The newly released State Department documents show Joe Biden pressured the Ukrainian government to fire its top prosecutor back in 2016, which is about a month after Burisma reached out to the agency.

The company employed Biden’s son Hunter and was under an investigation by prosecutor Viktor Shokin at the time. Ukraine suspected Burisma executives of money laundering and corruption.

Republican lawmakers have said the so-called whistleblower may have ties to Biden’s alleged corruption schemes.

“The whistleblower, actually, is a material witness completely separate from being the whistleblower because he worked for Joe Biden. He worked for Joe Biden at the same time Hunter Biden was receiving $50,000 a month. So, the investigation into the corruption of Hunter Biden involves this whistleblower because he was there at the time. Did he bring up the conflict of interest? Was there discussion of this? What was his involvement with the relationship between Joe Biden and the prosecutors?” — Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.)

Meanwhile, Ukrainian officials have said the only reason Biden sat on Burisma’s board was to “protect” the company from scrutiny.

If these types of documents continue to be rolled out into the public eye, it won’t be long before Joe Biden quietly fades into the countryside of Delaware and retires without a single word spoken regarding Burisma Holdings or the Chinese government pay-for-play.

If Biden is smart, and past experiences are a testament to the contrary, he should just cut and run and never discuss his involvement with these countries ever again. Odds are that those billions he and his family have made over the decades are enough to keep generations of Bidens in good keeping, high on the hog for merely being a civil servant to this country.

I hope, quite honestly, that he continues to flap his gums. There’s nothing better than a suspect who just won’t shut up.
