What was the energy source that was applied to the crystal cell?
Ancient technology. I played with these back in 1960. As with everything else, you have to apply energy in one form to get energy out in electric form. No panacea.
I believe in batry power. !! The Cristal cell in radio’s from the 60s are probably still working. The reasons I say that is because I have had a Cristal cell radio for a little bit on till it finally died on me. I opened it up and found that it was pretty croded. Ssooo I believe that the Cristal cell can operate egleas a haf of a lifetime!
