What resulted was an eventual tie-in to both the Clinton Family Crime Foundation and the Obama administration. These officials were instrumental in penning the Uranium One deal that ended up transferring anywhere between 20% and 40% of America's uranium supply to the Russians through these individuals.
Rather than bring immediate charges in 2010, however, the Department of Justice (DOJ) continued investigating the matter for nearly four more years, essentially leaving the American public and Congress in the dark about Russian nuclear corruption on U.S. soil during a period when the Obama administration made two major decisions benefiting Putin’s commercial nuclear ambitions.
The first decision occurred in October 2010, when the State Department and government agencies on the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States unanimously approved the partial sale of Canadian mining company Uranium One to the Russian nuclear giant Rosatom, giving Moscow control of more than 20 percent of America’s uranium supply.
When this sale was used by Trump on the campaign trail last year, Hillary Clinton’s spokesman said she was not involved in the committee review and noted the State Department official who handled it said she “never intervened … on any [Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States] matter.”
Above you'll find one of the main reasons why Hillary Rodham-Clinton did not win the election. The lies. They are ever on her lips, they permeate everything she is and was. She cannot escape them. And there are so many of them by now that the monster of them all is waiting, poised right below the surface of the Fake News cycle, ready to be unleashed upon the American public and the world.
The question is, when it does, will the Swansea University in Wales renounce their renaming of their College of Law the Hillary Rodham Clinton School of Law? We'll see.
For now, there is the other burning question: How many millions were shoveled into the Clinton Family Crime Foundation over this deal with Russian oligarchs?
Here's another: How many millions did the Obamas make on this sweet deal. And Eric Holder, since it was his Department of Justice that investigated the ties and then, wonder of wonders, Holder himself is on the committee to approve or disapprove the Uranium One deal?!
Talk about collusion.
The Obama administration’s decision to approve Rosatom’s purchase of Uranium One has been a source of political controversy since 2015.
That’s when conservative author Peter Schweitzer and The New York Times documented how Bill Clinton collected hundreds of thousands of dollars in Russian speaking fees and his charitable foundation collected millions in donations from parties interested in the deal while Hillary Clinton presided on the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States.
The Obama administration and the Clintons defended their actions at the time, insisting there was no evidence that any Russians or donors engaged in wrongdoing and there was no national security reason for any member of the committee to oppose the Uranium One deal.
But FBI, Energy Department and court documents reviewed by The Hill show the FBI in fact had gathered substantial evidence well before the committee’s decision that Vadim Mikerin — the main Russian overseeing Putin’s nuclear expansion inside the United States — was engaged in wrongdoing starting in 2009.
Question: How many times do you reckon that the name Vadim Mikerin appear in the missing or deleted 35K emails that Hillary had destroyed after being issued a subpoena to surrender them?
This issue is far from over and I suspect that if he hasn't already, Robert Mueller has already delved into the possibility that Obama, Holder and Clinton were all involved in this scandal and opted instead to turn a blind eye. I also believe that this is good news for Trump, not because it exonerates him, but just the opposite. It's damning to Hillary, Obama and Holder. That being said, knowing that the truthful information is now available to the FNIC and ready to be disseminated, Mueller will necessarily find nothing amiss with Trump's campaign, because if he does, the other real issue with Hillary, Obama and Holder will come down from Heaven like a bolt of Lightning. Scorched earth policies will be the least of what will then occur.
The real Conservative media though…we won't let this go. Rest assured.
Now, let's allow The Hill to get back to what they do best. Tomorrow, it's Trump-bashing afresh!
