Europe is close to being on the ropes. For years politicians on the left have declared Western Europe to be a socialist Shangri-La, while at the same time declaring America to be a hateful, bigoted, lumbering oaf with few redeeming qualities. The European Union was supposed to have supplanted or at least equaled the U.S. as the world economic powerhouse, with fluid or non-existent borders, generous social programs, and huge public employee rosters provided with generous salaries and benefits. The party is now over. Greece is essentially bankrupt, with Italy, Spain, and Ireland close behind, and now the continent is awash in Muslim immigrants looking for free social services and good paying jobs where there are none.
Interestingly, there are many left-leaning U.S. politicians who still see Western Europe as a role model for the U.S. and the poster child for the socialism they would like to see the U.S. adopt. It is becoming more and more apparent that socialism in Europe has been a dismal failure, and it cannot continue to receive the many immigrants pouring in across the borders. Europeans who criticized and denigrated the U.S. in years past now want the U.S. to save Europe and to send truckloads of dollars their way in order to save Europeans from themselves.

Yes the American tax payer is hurting and no other country comes to our aid yet we are expected to do more and more it amazes me how they think every American is independently filthy rich we are not, we are increasingly in a trap where as middle class is ceasing to exist. Our country has been experiencing many problems in recent years and continues to face these problems as our own government is going through difficulties. Europe must step back and make some tough decisions you can not continue to keep your borders open welcoming these refugees who in many cases only seek to destroy you they are making that clear. You have endangered your own citizens you have totally diminished their rights and freedoms they can no longer walk safely in their own streets. We Americans do not want this tyranny coming to our country and will fight back very hard to prevent it. World leaders need to come together and find ways and means to keep these refugees in their own lands, where they do have to assimilate but live as they please. The world can give them limited resources for a limited time and they will need to use those wisely. While we have always been taught it is better to give than to receive we have been depleted and it’s time that we realize that globalization has not worked and has not been any more apparent than in recent years.
It’s very wisely said that 75% of the solution to a problem is defining it properly. The EU has yet to define their problem. They don’t have a refugee problem they have an invasion problem. They are at war and don’t realize it.
American citizens …get of your butts and start having community meetings….it’s yours and my responsibility to hold these politicians responsible ….. you and I are the ones that allow all this political tyrranny….
