Blasio’s NYC: Father Shot Dead Walking His Daughter Across the Street

According to Breitbart News, NYC has seen a 204% increase in shooting victims over the past 28 days compared to last year – with 717 shooting victims for the year. For mayor Bill de Blasio, it’s was the perfect time to cut $1 billion from the NYC police department, which he did at the end of June.

“My office presented to City Council a plan that would achieve the billion in savings for the NYPD and shift resources to young people, to communities in a way that would help address a lot of the underlying issues that we know are the cause of so many problems in our society,” de Blasio said.

The move, along with countless other anti-police actions carried out by the mayor, likely provided the motivation for NYPD Chief of Detectives Rodney Harrison to release the video below of a father being murdered while crossing the street with his daughter on Sunday.

On July 6, NBC News investigative reporter Tom Winter noted that “[there has] been a 204% increase in…[NYC] shooting victims over the past 28 days compared to last year.”  with 717 shooting victims on the year.

On June 29, 2020, Breitbart News reported that more than 110 people had been shot in NYC over the course of nine days. The 110-plus victims were wounded or killed in 83 different shootings that occurred during that nine-day period, 1010WINS reported.
