Black Lives Matter has the notoriety of violence and calling for violence against police. CAIR is muddying their own waters by joining forces with BLM, because those who defend CAIR say that they help law enforcement work within the Muslim community and therefore any ties to Islamic extremism can be ignored.
CAIR’s alliance with the movement reinforces the perception that it opposes law enforcement because it backs some of the aims of Islamic radicals, even as it condemns their tactics.By supporting the Black Lives Matter movement, which has contributed to an atmosphere of violent incitement and hatred against police officers across the nation, CAIR has shown what its true feelings about American law enforcement really are.
By supporting this bill for more transparency and ban on racial profiling by police, CAIR teams with BLM in order to push an agenda against profiling. One must ask, what’s in it for CAIR?
