The Democrats were clearly looking to score some bipartisan points this week, when they had Dallas Texas Sheriff Lupe Valdez call for a moment of silence on behalf of slain police officers across the country. Instead, the moment turned into an embarrassment.
“Please help me in honor of all the American fallen officers with a moment of silence,” she said.
“BLACK LIVES MATTER!” yelled a handful of delegates before Valdez introduced Jennifer Louden and Wayne Owens, family members of a fallen law officer.
How this advances their cause is anyone’s guess. More likely, its just another brazen attempt to cause chaos for the world to see — all without a point.
