Beware: The Progressive Ruse to Abolish the Electoral College Gains More Ground

FairVote.org is the current public face of Ranked Choice Voting (RCV) and they make no bones about it. They are all in on this new voting system and will strenuously defend its implementation in each and every district across this great land, even if they have to sue every state to do so!

InfluenceWatch:

FairVote maintains focus on RCV and proportional representation in local municipalities; a number of municipalities and the state of Maine have adopted RCV systems. FairVote has been involved in numerous court battles arising out of or relating to its initiatives. Its current major programs include “Reform 2020” and lobbying for the Fair Representation Act to eliminate the Constitution’s electoral college.

In case you missed that, they are pushing for the eventual abolition of the Constitution’s Electoral College. What that means in the grand scheme of things is, eventually the White House will be permanently occupied by a member of the Democrat Party.

The elimination of the Electoral College would mean that the Iowa Caucus would become obsolete. Without a need to visit or hold rallies in fly-over country, approximately 22 states could literally be completely ignored during a 2-year run-up to an election and the Democrat candidate would be unaffected election-wise. He/She could conceivably take the White House without a single dollar spent on travel.

The abolition of the Electoral College would translate to a mere handful of states with the largest populations, particularly on the two coasts, picking the president of the United States in perpetuity. If you live in a state like mine, Alaska, your vote would never, ever be counted again. There would be no need. The population densities would precipitate any notion of a fair shot.

FairVote.org has a long-term endgame goal: Get enough state legislatures to introduce the RCV elections method, flip all the districts, and eventually do away with the Electoral College, which necessitates a majority of the states voting to do so in order to get the process going in Congress. If state legislatures have been that affected by RCV systems, you can bet your bottom dollar that Congress will be predominantly made up of Democrats.

Game, Set, Match.
