The beautiful thing about America is that though its people have myriad differences between themselves and their neighbors, there is room for everybody to live the way they want to. So long as no one is hurt, citizens are free to operate and interact with others as they please. And of course, a big part of living is having a home to one’s liking.
Unfortunately, we have gone from the idea that a person’s home is their castle to the notion that one’s home is just another place for the government to stick its nose into. So not only are the possessions we keep in our houses subjected to their rule, but the very buildings we call home are as well.

Under whose authority were these homes destroyed?
Watch this video. It is worth your time. Those houses are wonderful. People need a place to call their own and they were so happy to have a safe place of their own. What a sad story that really shows the character of the officials in LA as well as the group complaining. I would rather see a row of these little houses on the street than miles of tents and junk
Ridiculous!!!!
Amen!
This is just a sad commentary on how low are society has sunk
These rats are among the worst.
Those holding the AMERICAN People’s office are PURE EVIL
What an ass
Just another way the left wants to control … This make me sick and very sad for these people…
There must have been a reason. Not just destruction. Every one had rules to live by, with permits, laws, rules. So let’s have some proof that the law did it without some reason. I live in a place in California that is over ran with people who don’t want to recover. The crime rate is crazy. We have a mission they could all go to, but most of them don’t want help. So they steal, rob and beat up people to get what they think they are entitled to. Where is our protection. The law protects the criminals but not the tax payer. I don’t get it. Where is our freedom to live without fear from someone who doesn’t want help?
