Army Considers Drafting Women

Feminism has entered a place it may not have desired to go.  They scream equality everywhere, including the military, but have not thought about the end game, that is the next logical step in women being allowed to do all the same jobs as the men.

“If your objective is true and pure equality, then you have to look at all aspects and at some point Selective Service will have to be one of those things considered very carefully,” McHugh said on the first day of the Association of the United States Army’s annual meeting in Washington.

John  McHugh, the 21st United States Secretary of the Army pointed out that “Integrating women into combat will eventually force lawmakers to have an “emotional discussion and debate” about whether women should also be part of the draft.”

The three service secretaries submitted their recommendations to Defense Secretary Ash Carter this month on whether any positions should remain closed to women. The Navy secretary did not request any exemptions for the Navy or Marine Corps, but it’s unclear what recommendations the other services made.

If women desire to hold all the same positions, with no “handicap” given, then the draft also is in play.  And what about the women who believe with all their heart that their place in nowhere near the military, nowhere near the battlefield?  What about them?  Will this next logical step force them to go against what they hold to be true?
