It sounds like somebody finally heard the voices of gun owners across America, because at least one state is considering a bill that benefits instead of penalizes them.
Arizona House Majority Leader Steve Montenegro has introduced a bill in the state legislature that contrasts greatly with all the anti-gun measures introduced by liberal and Democratic politicians. Indeed, the legislation introduced by the Arizona Republican, known officially as House Bill 2494, promises to treat gun owners very differently.
Per the measure’s description, House Bill 2494 will grant tax breaks to firearm enthusiasts who apply for and receive concealed carry permits. Citizens would eligible for reimbursements of up to $80, which is exactly how much such permits cost.
Read more about the bill on the next page:
Ok, I’m all about the guns, but no tax breaks for doing something you’re allowed to do. I don’t get tax breaks for running my mouth, neither should they for owning CCW’s.
One dangerous state in America a stand your ground state
police have their every action documented and there are real world financial costs to their actions that cost the state money. AZ is known for having overreaching and idiotic police officers who make silly arrests that cost the state hundreds of thousands in brutality and negligence lawsuits. Democrat, Republican, whatever$#%&!@*you call yourself, you should absolutely get a tax break for being able to protect yourself at your own cost, especially when the cops in said state are young dumb and full of _________ <$#%&!@*rhymes but its really just shitforbrains.
“I like guns but I’d rather pay taxes even though a bill could be passed for a tax break because I like paying taxes.”
What freedom is being lost? If you have a CPL, you get to KEEP the money you would otherwise be paying.
That isn’t fair to the people who have no interest in owning a weapon. But taxes need to be lowered for everybody.
Good thing
A MUST READ I COPIED
#Point2Ponder:
It always comes down to a choice. Who do you want to be? What kind of world do you want to live in?
I am very sad today and I want to share my heart.
These are the times that try men’s souls. And these are the times that expose the sincere and the hypocrit alike. I believe, in the analysis of a video that is very telling in some aspects yet speculative at best in others, we are missing the forest for the trees.
Here are some facts and some choices.
Fact: The local and federal governments let the protestors move unimpeded on and of the refuge for almost 2 weeks. They let them bring in supplies. If the government wanted a peaceful end they could have blocked off the refuge and waited them out. The government did not choose peace.
Fact: We now have a federal government that cannot tolerate defiance to their dictates. They have proven they will do what it takes to maintain their unconstitutional power. They have declared, most definitively, that a perceieved loss of revenue is more important than human life. The government has declared that the pretense of losing money over building in the middle of nowhere that serves no purpose is enough to start a gun battle. They have shown they believe that loss of revenue and peaceful occupation of public land is justification for the government to deny all Rights and become judge, jury, and executioner. The government chose violence.
Patrick Henry cries out through history and experience:
Ask yourselves how this gracious reception of our petition comports with these war-like preparations which cover our waters and darken our land. Are fleets and armies necessary to a work of love and reconciliation? Have we shown ourselves so unwilling to be reconciled, that force must be called in to win back our love? Let us not deceive ourselves, sir. These are the implements of war and subjugation; the last arguments to which kings resort. I ask, gentlemen, sir, what means this martial array, if its purpose be not to force us to submission? Can gentlemen assign any other possible motive for it?
Fact: The government will be convincing others that the protestors should have sought the “proper channels” for their complaints. Yet what “proper channels” did the government employ? Where were the services of warrants? Where were the injuctions and judicial orders to vacate? Where were the hearings and due process? Where were the open lines of negotiations we always see in Hollywood or television? No. The government chose force and violence.
Fact: There are many things the government could have done to choose peace and reconciliation. They did not choose peace. The chose to deliver a message loud and clear…
“Defy us, even peacefully, and you will feel our wrath. Deny our self-declared authority, and you will suffer the consequences. We are masters over your property and we will show you we are masters over your life. Oppose us and you will pay the ultimate price. Our will is more important than your Life, Liberty, or Property. Your happiness? We will tell you what that is and you will bow in submission.”
The government has made its choice.
And now the choice is ours. Who do you want to be? What kind of world do you want to live in?
Today I weep.
I weep for Life lost. I weep for Liberty lost. I weep for a people given so much by the sacrifice of others. I weep for those who will justify this violence and madden on to their own destruction. I weep for a future lost for my child. I weep for America lost.
I am sorry Mercy Otis Warren. I am sorry James Otis, Jr. I am sorry Crispus Attucks. I am sorry Adams, Jefferson, Washington, and all those who pledged Life, Fortune, & Sacred Honor so we could have Liberty. I am sorry that we have become pacified in prosperity, lazy in luxury, and compliant in our comfort. I am sorry that you are repenting in Heaven that you gave so much to a generation of selfish, ungrateful children.
Today I weep.
But know this, in our sadness we will not faulter…
There is still a remnant that knows. There is still a remnant that believes. There is still a remnant who will stand and defend Liberty.
Our cause it is just and this be our motto β βIn God is our trust,β
In over 1000 years of history, tyranny has always been defeated and Liberty always prevails. It is an oracle of truth.
We will stand peacefully but resolved. We will follow in the footsteps of Martin Luther King, Jr and Ghandi. We will declare a New Civil Rights Movement. We will declare ourselves free again.
We know that God gave us Liberty. If God be for us who can be against us? We believe that no weapon forged can defy the will of God and we SHALL NOT FEAR!

North Carolina needs to do this.
Having to obtain a permit is the first step to removing concealed carry.
