Illegal immigrants have just been shown the door. A federal court judge has erred on the side of reason, deciding that the children of illegal immigrants are not entitled to US citizenship. This must be disappointing for illegals looking to suckle on American rights and entitlements without the hassle of actually becoming Americans or troubling to pay taxes like the rest of us.

Illegals have children not for love of family but for profit and protection. They believe if they have children here they will not be deported. That is the most selfish and most horrible thing to do.

The judge is correct, “anchor babies” are not born with citizenship. Current immigration policy allows them to apply for citizenship when reaching 18 or retain the citizenship of their parents. Many “anchor babies” have believed the media information and have failed to apply for citizenship when reaching 18 and are actually foreign citizens.
