Illegal immigrants have just been shown the door. A federal court judge has erred on the side of reason, deciding that the children of illegal immigrants are not entitled to US citizenship. This must be disappointing for illegals looking to suckle on American rights and entitlements without the hassle of actually becoming Americans or troubling to pay taxes like the rest of us.

Sure keep the illegals and their anchor babies together, that is, send the children to whom they gave birth here out of the country with them. So what’s the problem? You don’t reward somebody for doing wrong with a pity party. If America is to survive, we must get tougher by taking proper action, and this is one of the good solutions that also would serve as a deterrent.

Tina DaRosa, I think it is a good time to discuss the 14th amendment. Our country and the world are very different from 148 years ago. We’re all a lot more mobile today. It seems we have other issues more important that need addressing first tho. I agree with you, I don’t see any ambiguity in the way the amendment is written.
