Illegal immigrants have just been shown the door. A federal court judge has erred on the side of reason, deciding that the children of illegal immigrants are not entitled to US citizenship. This must be disappointing for illegals looking to suckle on American rights and entitlements without the hassle of actually becoming Americans or troubling to pay taxes like the rest of us.

This is common sense to me but my family has been in the US since the 1600s, so I’ve never dealt with immigration personally. I do hope it’s a ruling for the future and not retroactive.
Take your anchor babies back to your country! We have children in this country, legal citizens that are starving and living in cars and cardboard boxes so the American people can take care of you and yours.

I agree, because this is one of the biggest incentives for illegal immigration. Whether it’s to anchor yourself in America or simply provide better life for your kid, your still breaking the law in order to it. And the fruits born of illegal actions should not bee considered legitimate. Imagine if i robbed a bank of 1 billion dollars of other people’s money and used it to feed starving children in Africa. If we are to truly strive for a just society govern by a strict rule of law, we cannot allow compassion for the innocent to cloud our judgement in condemning the products off illegal actions, whatever their intentions.
