Illegal immigrants have just been shown the door. A federal court judge has erred on the side of reason, deciding that the children of illegal immigrants are not entitled to US citizenship. This must be disappointing for illegals looking to suckle on American rights and entitlements without the hassle of actually becoming Americans or troubling to pay taxes like the rest of us.

Ed Chatterton (see below), is absolutely correct. The 14th Amendment was intended to make citizens of slaves that had been brought to the US to complete the emancipation. The unintended consequence has been “anchor babys”. It is insane to think that any pregnant women could just show up in the US, have her baby and the baby be a US citizen…to add insult to injury this single baby then adds 6 additional adults (mother, father & both sets of Grand parents), that can stay with the child… just total INSANITY!!! This must stop and be amended ASAP!!!

Calling those who are born here from parents who are here illegally, “citizens” is like saying the lazy people in this country that refuse to work and collect welfare earn their check & food stamps every month.
all their families can stay together in MEXICO. DEPORT.
