China is on the way to becoming the dominant landowner in the United States as they are on a huge ‘buying spree’ – purchasing vast tracts of our land.
Sometimes the land is actually given to them by economically depressed areas desperate for the Chinese to come in and build factories.
In other cases, the Chinese are buying up major corporations and then acquire the land as a consequence. For example, upon purchasing Smithfield Foods they suddenly owned 460 large farms – becoming the top employer in dozens of cities and communities all over the United States.
Well, we just happened to have a lot of real estate at rock-bottom prices. How convenient for China. America is being sold out – literally.

THere should be a total limit to the % of American real estate that can be owned by foreigners. Same with major AMERICAN companies and their ownership. But, alas, money and greed do the talking, so we are literally SELLING our Country to those with the most money and to hell with the sovereignty of this Nation. We WILL be “owned” by the Chinese and others and it won’t be long. Then what does the USA do when the land and companies are owed by foreigners, many of which are sworn enemies? We are done for as a Nation!

How is it even possible for another country to buy our land? Sounds like we need some new laws to protect ownership of American soil!! This c**p isn’t right!!
Here in Orange County, CA, they make all-cash offers on inexpensive homes, flip for an extra $100K+, pricing first time buyers out of the market. Chinese families are buying new homes near UC Irvine for the school district, although their kids aren’t old enough for school, so the house will sit vacant for a few years. The greed is getting out of hand!
Notice that the same people who are against this are the same ones embracing capitalism or any system that embraces the concept of currency. The jokes are on you guys.

It’s also shocking to see how many people are blaming President Obama for this rather than attacking the real issues. Should be looking at congress & the banking system.
