As a grand-daughter of an Alzheimer patient, breaking studies into the disease are always of interest. However, when the study offers yet another way in which one may get Alzheimer’s, it is disconcerting.
The disease, until the finding in this new study, seems to occur only due to inheriting genetic mutations resulting in the familial form of the disease, or the “sporadic” events that randomly happen in the brains of the elderly. Yet now, there may be one more way in which this disease is “caught”. One will want to move to page 2 for the fascinating discovery.
what retard did this study?
It can be hereditary but not infectious. That’s like saying cancer is contagious.
I pray not.
It took the idiot “scientists” and doctors many decades to figure out that stomach ulcers were not caused by “stress,” but by an infectious organism. That’s why I have never believed a single thing those fools have ever told us.
I don’t believe it is a transmittable disease.
Um…no.
Infectious to the people doing the necropsy… Others not so much.
