Alex Jones’ Lawyer Says ‘He’s Playing a Character’

Kelly Jones, Alex Jones former wife is arguing that the content promoted on his show is reasonable evidence that he’s incapable of being “a stable” father or presence in their children’s lives.
“Mrs. Jones told a pre-trial hearing: “He’s not a stable person. He says he wants to break Alec Baldwin’s neck. He wants J-Lo to get raped.”
Alex Jones’s attorney, Randall Wilhite, reversely claims the controversial radio host is merely “playing a character” and acting as a “performance artist” on his show.
“Mr. Wilhite said that using Mr. Jones’ on-air persona to judge him as a father would be like judging Jack Nicholson in a custody dispute based on his performance as the Joker in Batman. The claim is likely to cause some confusion among Mr. Jones’s fans, who have closely followed his musings. These included unfounded assertions that the Sandy Hook massacre and Boston bombings were hoaxes, Hillary Clinton should be jailed and that Barack Obama founded Isis.”
Sources are reporting that the judge involved in the case moved to ban footage from Infowars being involved in the case as not pertinent to the nature of the trial. However, the former Mrs. Jones has already submitted several Infowars clips to the court as evidence of Jones’s mental incompetency as a father.
