Al Gore Questioned Legitimacy of Electoral Process in 2000 Concession Speech


Readers old enough to remember 2000 will recall the acrimonious fight over the results of the presidential election, with Democrats insisting that George W. Bush cheated and stole the election from Al Gore. Instead of chastising his supporters for hawking “conspiracy theories”, Gore himself joined in, using his concession speech as a platform for views that liberals now find dangerous and irresponsible.
