Al Gore: I am Correct on Climate Change, You Just Can’t See It

We pick up the story with the announcement that Mr. Gore has produced another movie.

The new movie is called An Inconvenient Sequel, a follow-up to An Inconvenient Truth, which was chock full of doom and gloom about made-made climate change and global warming. The film premiered at the Sundance Film Festival last month and will go into wide distribution this summer.

This whole climate change business has been incredibly profitable for Mr. Gore.

Gore’s activism made him a multimillionaire celebrity. The carbon footprint of his wallet expanded further when, in late 2012, he sold his failed TV channel, Current TV, to Big Oil, i.e., to the Al Jazeera network, which is backed by the royal family of the oil-rich country of Qatar. Gore reportedly pocketed $100 million from that transaction.

The “planet has a fever” pundit also won a Nobel Peace Prize, but then again, so did Obama.

So what became of his predictions of disaster that he included in his first film?

As Natural News previously reported, none of the dire climate change predictions from the first film — which won an Academy Award for best documentary — have come to pass. Among other things, the Arctic never melted, and polar bears are still thriving. Mt. Kilimanjaro is still covered with plenty of show. Extreme weather also has failed to materialized.

If Mr. Gore’s theories were correct, then his predictions should have come to pass with results that would have been obvious. Instead, what we have is a dud. Gore now needs a second film to try once again to establish credibility for his erroneous theory.

In the new opus, the former vice president under Bill Clinton tries to justify another weather whopper — that cities all over the world, including Manhattan, are at risk for flooding because of the rise in the sea level combined with storm surges.

This assertion turns out to be false.

Even the liberal Washington Post admitted back in November 2012 that “Climate change does not cause storms and did not cause Superstorm Sandy.”

Another problem Gore has is that the polar ice caps are not melting, a fact that was reported by NASA.

NASA has updated its data from satellite readings, revealing that the planet’s polar ice caps have not retreated significantly since 1979, when measurements began.

Indeed, the polar ice has, for almost three years now, remained above the 35 year average.

The data shows that the ice caps remained at more or less the same level until 2005, when they slightly receded for a few years.

And there is yet one more refutation of the man-made climate change theory to be considered.

Weather Channel founder John Coleman was fundamentally unimpressed with the original Al Gore movie, which he deemed a “scientific monstrosity,” and has raised concerns about the follow up for similar reasons. Coleman has argued in the past that man-made climate change is a scam, a myth, and unsupported by science.

With all these holes in what Gore and other global warming enthusiasts would have us believe, there exists a powerful reason to treat the entire theory with a great deal of skepticism. Which means that these global bodies that are eager to impose their control over industry and people really have no justifiable purpose and should be abolished.

Now what leftist would ever continence something like that?
