The Agriculture Department, run by a favorite Obama hack, said Tuesday that it will stop providing benefits at the beginning of October if Congress does not pass legislation to keep government agencies open.
“If Congress does not act to avert a lapse in appropriations, then USDA will not have the funding necessary for SNAP benefits in October and will be forced to stop providing benefits within the first several days of October,” said Catherine Cochran, a spokeswoman for USDA. “Once that occurs, families won’t be able to use these benefits at grocery stores to buy the food their families need.”

Well, it’s about time. Most of these folks do not work, have not worked and will not work, but they receive free entitlements at the expense of the taxpayer. I think the same should be for Welfare. If you don’t want to work, you don’t qualify for food stamps and welfare. Why should I have take food off my table to give it to someone that is not contributing to the system? On top of that, they file their income tax returns and get money back, yet not one has paid a dime into the Income Tax System. They should be paying us back.
