The Agriculture Department, run by a favorite Obama hack, said Tuesday that it will stop providing benefits at the beginning of October if Congress does not pass legislation to keep government agencies open.
“If Congress does not act to avert a lapse in appropriations, then USDA will not have the funding necessary for SNAP benefits in October and will be forced to stop providing benefits within the first several days of October,” said Catherine Cochran, a spokeswoman for USDA. “Once that occurs, families won’t be able to use these benefits at grocery stores to buy the food their families need.”

There are millions of physically and mentally disabled ppl who need these programs. It’s not only going to effect the “lazy ppl”. Half our military enlisted are on food stamps too.

Well, those who can will have to do what many of us do daily GO TO WORK. For those who can’t they need this assistance. Why do so many people think that the tax paying American should support them plus themselves?
Put them to work and make them earn the food stamps / EBT
