All Active US Aircraft Carriers Are in Port, None Deployed

We never have all of our carriers deployed at the same time. There will always be those that in port for maintenance. After all, a nuclear powered aircraft carrier is an incredibly complex vessel. At times they might be in port for several months of maintenance. At other times, such as when doing nuclear re-fueling and major upgrades, the port stay might last three years.

On the other hand, it is more than unusual to have all of them in port at the same time. They are located at ports in different geographical locations, so they are still scattered around. But to have not one aircraft carrier deployed is unprecedented. It hasn’t happened since World War II. Infowars describes this as a precarious situation and warns of a possible false flag:

In what can only be described as a disproportionate appropriation of U.S. Navy assets, a blatant breach of standard protocol, and a possible set up for a false flag operation — the entire U.S. Navy aircraft carrier group, 10 active carriers, have returned to port and are now all sitting ducks.

According to information displayed on GoNavy.jp , which tracks the current locations of all active aircraft carriers, the Obama Administration has ordered every single active U.S. aircraft carrier home.

With all our carriers in port, it’s not surprising to make a comparison between right now, and when all our battleships were lined up in port at Pearl Harbor in 1941. Those battleships were an easy target for the Japanese carrier-based fighter planes. And the result of the attack, as we know, was devastating.

An aircraft carrier is not like a bomber, several of which can be kept on alert status, ready to deploy to anywhere in the world in a few hours. It takes several days for a carrier to get on-location, depending of course, on where it’s needed. And that’s assuming it’s ready for deployment and can get its full compliment of officers and crew on board without delay.

So for those who want to focus on the potential vulnerability of our having all our carriers in port, there is also the danger of the outbreak of hostilities somewhere in the world — somewhere that American interests are threatened — and somewhere to which we cannot get a carrier group on-location for at least a week or two.

The current situation with our carriers is reason for concern. Given that Mr. Obama remains the commander of all our military forces for just over two weeks, the concern takes on an even more serious tone.
