1. Operation Fast and Furious

The federal government recklessly endangered lives by arming drug cartels in Mexico with rifles that could be traced. The intent was to undermine the Second Amendment. It resulted in the death of border agent Brian Terry.

Then-Attorney General Eric Holder was found in contempt of Congress for stonewalling attempts to investigate the operation and President Obama further complicated the matter by improperly invoking executive privilege.

2. Benghazi

Four Americans died in the terrorist assault on the American compound in Benghazi, but again the Obama administration stonewalled by lamely blaming a video for the attack. Requests for more security before the attack and military assistance during it fell on deaf ears.

 3. IRS Targeted Conservative Organizations

In 2013 it came to light that the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) deliberately targeted Tea Party organizations to prevent them from achieving 501c3 status in order to solicit charitable donations. This improper targeting prevented these organizations from participating in the 2014 election.

All attempts to investigate the matter have been stonewalled by the IRS and Democrats.

4. DOJ Seized Phone and Email Records from Media Organizations and Reporters

The Associated Press was unaware the Department of Justice had obtained two months of phone records to learn what confidential sources provided information on a CIA operation in Yemen. James Rosen of Fox News had his phone records, his parents’ phone records and emails obtained by DOJ, which labeled him a co-conspirator under the Espionage Act in regard to a story on North Korea
