3. Massasauga Rattlesnake

The third snake on our list is considered an endangered species. It’s also very difficult to spot this snake, and it’s not because of their few numbers, but because of their size. The Massasauga rattlesnake is a very small snake; this means you are less likely going to get in its way. However, if by any chance your paths ever cross, you should know, despite its very tiny features, it is very deadly. The venom in this particular snake is very toxic and in case you get bit, you will need immediate medical attention. The Massasauga rattlesnake has been spotted in Illinois, Indiana, Missouri, New York, Michigan and Pennsylvania.
