The NY Times reported that Donald Trump claims that, if elected, he will not live in the White House. That sounds like a pretty strange, bold claim from someone who has put so much effort and so many resources into the presidential race, so far. Trump said he would require a complete renovation of the White House. After a look at his own palatial Manhattan estate, one begins to see what Trump means. Perhaps Trump thinks the current aesthetic of the White House just doesn’t measure up to the opulence he is accustomed to.
