We know the leftist caricature of gun-rights advocates as stupid, poor, right-wing rednecks just isn’t true.
With socialists like Bernie Sanders insisting we shouldn’t be free to protect ourselves and supporting laws meant to prohibit citizens being armed in public, our right to defend ourselves and those we love is under attack. Here is a great example of why the 2nd amendment is in place and of how diligent, respectful citizens protect themselves in a lawful matter with it.
When two white supremacists tried to take out their hatred by attacking a black man in a Fort Myers, Waffle House, they got what they deserved. There is security camera footage, witness reports of each of the workers and a local newcast even secured audio with further information on the altercation. It is not only undeniably justified, but as folks have commented in the comment feed, “play stupid games, win stupid prizes”

I’m glad this man was able to protect himself. I’m also glad that no charges will be levied. Justifiable shooting. A racist met his fate.
If things were different here and the shooter was white and the attacker was black the shooter would be in jail for it.
This is nothing to cheer about, or be proud of, anytime human life is lost it’s a sad event. But this is exactly what guns are for, to Equalize all citizens.
Larry Rasmussen you are wrong on so many counts. First when was the last time you heard of a DUI charge actually keeping the offender from driving? From first hand experience I can tell you there are many drivers currently on the road whose driving privileges have been taken away.
Second, have you ever been to a gun show? I have and have actually purchased firearms. In each case I was subjected to the same background check as at any dealership.
Blaming neighboring States and the fact that not everyone believes as you do for your gun problem completely ignores the true problem inherent in your city’s crime problem.
Third, your assertion that those young teens responsible for the “major number of deaths in the inner city” are not hardened criminals is not only wrong it borders stupidity. Yes Larry when young gangbangers commit homicide, they are hardened criminals which brings us back to the root cause of your problems which is- criminals. Your liberal ideology which seeks to blame inanimate objects for the criminal actions of that object’s USER; which seeks to find alternatives to punishment for criminal actions resulting in such idiocy as unsupervised probation and counseling for serious crimes, guarantees recidivism and ever rising violent crime stats.
Fourth, as has already been stated, criminals do not care about your laws. The number of laws you pass, the ridiculous restrictions you place on ownership, are all irrelevant to the criminal. Read the news man.

There isn’t much in your statement that is fact or true. I can back that up with many sources, but don’t think I will waste my time except for one thing. Yes, people being killed by drunk drivers have been significantly. The rest, if you are so blatantly going to make false statements, then think what you want to lie about so you can think it.
