2016 Will Be The Worst Year Yet For Obamacare Penalties

Affordable Care Act is a cruel misnomer and it gets worse for those who have not been able to obtain the forced insurance for whatever reason.  The affordability of the penalties for not being able to afford insurance is exorbitant.  Those who crafted this dismal bill live outside the reality of most Americans who scrape by, day in and day out, doing their best to provide for the needs of their families.

Obama believes he came to the heroic rescue via his Affordable Care Act and yet the numbers prove otherwise.

If one does not have Obama’s forced insurance, then be prepared to pay a hefty fine.

This year, though, the penalty amounts are ratcheting up significantly. The corresponding per-person amounts soar in 2015 to $325 per adult and $162.50 per child, up to a family maximum of $975. But 2% of your household income above your tax filing threshold is higher, then that’s generally what you’ll owe.

Prepare to pay more in 2016.  The penalties are meant to subject people into buying, because the premise of Obamacare penciled out on paper, is that everyone must participate in order for it to be solvent.  Thus the penalties are meant to scare one into purchasing a plan.

2016: The worst year yet for Obamacare penalties
The penalties reach their worst next year, with huge increases coming once again. The per-person charge in 2016 jumps to $695 per adult and $347.50 per child, topping out at a whopping $2,085 per family. The income-based penalty rises to 2.5%.

After that, increases will be more modest. The amount of the Obamacare penalty in 2017 and thereafter will be indexed to the Consumer Price Index, with maximums gradually rising over time.

The left lives in a land of fantasy, unaware what the lives of real working Americans truly look like.  Their god-complex has hurt most Americans and not helped them achieve the American dream.

Planning for the upcoming 2016 penalties would be prudent, but even more prudent would be getting rid of the Obamacare monstrosity altogether.
