Sanders: I’m “Not Exactly A Career Politician”

Republicans are rightfully concerned about a Hillary presidency, but statements like this prove that Bernie Sanders will be just as bad, if not worse than Clinton. At the end of the day, Clinton is a pragmatic opportunist who will do whatever it takes to advance her own agenda. Sanders, however, is a utopian-minded idealist with, judging by remarks like the aforementioned one, a questionable hold on reality.

“From 1981 to 1989, Sanders was Mayor of Burlington, Vermont. Two years later he was elected to the House of Representatives, where he would serve until being elected to the Senate in 2006, where he serves today.

To put that in perspective, Bernie has been involved in politics since Ronald Reagan was first elected to the White House. One might ask Bernie, what exactly is his career, if not politics?

Just one more example of how out of touch with reality Bernie really is…”
