13.Elections are not democratic in North Korea

In North Korea elections are normally undertaken every five years. During the elections, there is normally one name on the ballot; democracy is ‘outdated’ in that country. Furthermore, failure to vote is a crime which is severely punished, so voter turnout is extremely high.
