An unprecedented 105 retired Navy admirals and two Marine Corps generals are warning the Obama administration that U.S. security will plummet to all time lows if more cuts to the naval budget are made.
Obama is already completely eliminating the highly successful Tomahawk missile program, known as the worlds most advanced cruise missile, by 2016.

Also, i’m not sure where you are getting your info from, but you may want to check your sources. Russia putting “a dozen” ships in the Med is not nearly enough to intimate a U.S CVBG. They actually only sent 2. China is developing a fleet but it’s not even close yet to being on par. They also have terrible quality of ships and equipment.
