Remember these names: Sens. Dean Heller (R-NV), Joni Ernst (R-IA), Johnny Isakson (R-GA), James Lankford (R-OK), Lisa Murkowski (R-AK), Tim Scott (R-SC), John Thune (R-SD), James Inhofe (R-OK), and John Cornyn (R-TX)
These nine are the very Republicans who will most likely begin the process of stepping over the aisle red line and crossing into enemy territory on the question of even more ineffective gun control. While they are not advocating for the full seizure of weapons from American citizens yet, the lure of the Leftist Fake News machine is powerful and, like crossing over to the Dark Side of the Force, these nine have been raring to go.
My senator, Lisa Murkowski, is about as RINO as they come. Her office, located in Juneau, happens to sit on the crossroad of Liberal Avenue and Leftist Boulevard and, as each new legislative roll call approaches in Congress, the same 106 Antifa thug-lites show up at her headquarters doorstep and loudly protest with signs and bullhorns. Murkowski faithfully and obediently nods her understanding and votes against the America First agenda for which Trump was elected to enact, and then goes back home to await the next protest in her front yard.
I’m not a fan of Chris Murphy either. He was my senator when I was living in Connecticut in the distant past and he was one of those Democrats who got elected purely because of the “D” next to his name. As well, former state attorney general, Richard Blumenthal, now a senator despite lying to his rally followers about have been a Vietnam veteran, was elected by virtue of his political persuasion.
As Murphy as tweeted, he believes these nine Republicans (and “many more to follow”) are standing on the edge of the cliff and are ready to be nudged over the side into the gun control abyss.
If that’s the truth, are we obligated to say something or do something? Should we be lobbying these senators to vote No on even more strangling gun control that has already cost many people their lives? The school in California yesterday where a man shot up a bunch of kids is indicative of how gun control is a net negative for children in America. As I’ve said in the past, every Liberal and their mom have bodyguards and special agents assigned to protect them from crazies with guns. Yet, the very people who require our protection the most, our children, are let out to dry by an effete system of laws that seems to not comprehend that announcing that there are no guns in this place is the equivalent of ringing the “take your best shot,” warning bell!
Sen. Chris Murphy (D-CT) took to Twitter on Wednesday to hint that his Republican colleagues are ready to cave on gun control.
Democrats have pushed over ten different gun controls since the October 1 Las Vegas attack. Those include a ban on semiautomatic weapons, “high capacity” magazines, bump stocks, and “assault weapons.” The gun controls also include calls for an Australian-style gun ban, a ban on trigger cranks, and the implementation of expanded background checks, even though the Las Vegas gunman—and almost every mass public attacker of recent memory—passed a background check for his firearms.
Sen. Murphy personally pushed for a ban on bump stocks and “assault weapons,” and called for more background checks as well.
On Wednesday he hinted that unnamed Republicans may be ready to join the gun control push, tweeting:

Nine Senate Republicans signed a letter calling for a hearing on bump stocks after the Las Vegas attack.
Of these, Cornyn emerged after the November 5 Texas church attack with an eye to gun legislation. The Washington Times reported Cornyn was one of a small number of Republicans who believe “there is room for a limited gun control debate.”
Breitbart News contacted Cornyn’s office and they said he has not been in dialogue with Sen. Murphy.
Keep a close eye on these nine and listen up for any others who will turncoat. This may be another hoax by Murphy, or (more likely) the premise for their upcoming refusal to vote their constituents’ consciences.

Ratification of an amendment takes three-fourths of the states to approve. The Amendment process is the formal way to change the Constitution. Good luck with that.
