Russian Military Officials Warn of Nuclear Strike Against U.S.

Russian officials have issued a second warning to the United States in as many days.  This warning is of a more dire import, stating that Russia will not hesitate to strike the United States with nuclear weapons if we use any nuclear aggression against North Korea.

The Kremlin’s military commanders and defense ministers are scrambling to get out the message that Russia will not take this sitting down.  Lieutenant General Viktor Poznikhir said:

“The presence of U.S. missile defense bases in Europe, missile defense vessels in seas and oceans close to Russia creates a powerful covert strike component for conducting a sudden nuclear missile strike against the Russian Federation.”

What the general is saying is that the U.S. may use the North Korean crisis as an excuse to launch a lightning nuclear attack on Russia and its allies because all of its assets are in place to do so.

“Russian representatives have often appealed to the U.S. side, drawing their attention to the danger the global missile defense system poses to the strategic balance of forces in the world.  But facts are ignored.”

The Russian military and political establishment would like the world to believe that it is the peace-loving nation and the U.S. the aggressors, but the European missile defense systems it is referring to are much degraded nowadays from their first deployment decades ago.  That, due in large part, to former president Barrack Obama, who dismantled many of these bases as one of his first official proclamations in 2009.

As the Polish and Romanian people watched the eastern missile defense systems torn down and carted away by US. military personnel, they protested and bemoaned the fact that they would now feel under constant threat by a re-establishing Russian Federation.

In fact, one of the first actions following this dismantling was the quasi-invasion of the Russians into the Ukraine and Crimea.

The Russians are intimidated by the recent show of force on the part of the United States and are in a state of panic.  If a showdown between North Korea and the U.S. does indeed take place, they are fearful that a quick and succinct end to the conflict, WITHOUT the use of nuclear weapons on the part of the United States, would be a blow to the narrative that is being communicated in Moscow.

If the Russians can persist with this message, their hope is to sway American public sentiment against the Trump administration and bring that pressure to bear, causing American officials to back down from their stand-off with Pyongyang.

Express goes on:

“The US claims its missile defence system is not directed against Russia and China. But the results of computer simulations testify to the contrary.”

Mr Klintsevich then added: “There are no doubts that such statements are addressed to certain receivers. The first addressee is the international community. Secondly, it is a clear signal to the US leadership that any further developments will come as no surprise to us. I think such a reminder won’t be excessive. Let them know that we know.

“At this particular moment the most reliable guarantee of further peace is our ability to provide the toughest possible response to any possible aggression. This is what, as I think, first deputy chief of the General Staff’s Main Operational Department Lt Gen Viktor Poznikhir meant when making such a statement,” Klintsevich said.

Any American strike against North Korea will be a massive ordnance of incredible power with pinpoint accuracy to take out military capability, power sources, and infrastructure that affords portability of munitions and equipment.

When dealing with a man who in fact considers himself a living god, literally, descended from two other living gods, and whose people actually approach him as a god, there is only delusional assurance that he could tangle with the greatest superpower on the planet.

Unfortunately for the North Korean people, his folly will be their punishment.  With talk by Secretary of State Rex Tillerson of the possibility of China imposing sanctions of their own, it is hard to imagine a dictator of Kim Jong-un’s personality disorder to change his mind or his posture at this point in the game.  His people are already starving.

A look at the planet from space blatantly reveals the abject poverty of the North Korean nation as South Korea below is brightly lit with energy, while North Korea is black and lifeless.

The Russians will continue to put forward an apocalyptic view of the world as long as the U.S. backs down from this small nation dictator.

The moment that Kim Jong-un makes the fateful decision to strike South Korea, Japan, or the United States is the moment that the Russians no longer have a viable bargaining chip.
