Don’t blink, because it might just be that fast!
North Korea, in issuing a broad statement about sending missiles to our US territory in Guam, is playing with fire. And they know it. It’s not exactly certain if Kim Jong-un understands that he is not playing a game of Battleship, but it is certain that he is crazy enough to play a game of chicken with the United States of America.
It is possible that he could be banking on China and Russia to bail him out at the last moment. After launching an attack on the US, perhaps he believes that the Fake News Industrial Complex (FNIC), the Party of the Jackass, and ex-members of the Obama administration will swoop in at the last moment to save his hide before both his military, infrastructure and power grid are completely decimated. Perhaps he’s even stupid enough to think that the United Nations will force the US to stand down.
Whatever his thinking, Jong-un is making the grave mistake of, a) underestimating the depth and breadth of our forces and its accuracy, and b) believing that an act of war like this won’t have unspeakable consequences.
