Pelosi: Investigating Trump Without Evidence is our “Constitutional Responsibility”

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) said in a press briefing Thursday that the massive investigations into President Trump launched by the House Democrats is their “Constitutional responsibility” as oversight of the Executive branch, even though there is no evidence to support such an investigation.

So there you have it. Nancy Pelosi, who is third in the line of succession to become President of the United States just admitted there is no evidence a crime was committed by President Trump and claimed searching for a crime — which is an overt abuse of due process, is their “Constitutional responsibility.”

Recall, House Judiciary Chairman Jerry Nadler (D-NY) admitted on CNN this week that there is no evidence Trump obstructed justice but he launched a massive investigation anyway because it’s his ‘personal opinion’ that Trump may have violated the Constitution.

Subpoenas flew on Monday after Rep. Jerry Nadler launched an investigation of Trump and issued document requests to 81 people and entities close to the White House.

The list includes: Donald Trump Jr., Eric Trump, General Mike Flynn, Julian Assange, Trump son-in-law Jared Kushner, Erik Prince and the NRA.

The House Judiciary Committee is investigating three main topics: obstruction of justice, including the potential interference by the president into criminal investigations; public corruption, including violations of the emoluments clause; and abuses of power, including attacks on the free press, the judiciary and law enforcement agencies, reported NBC News.

Chairman of the House Intel Committee Adam Schiff (D-CA) recently launched a massive investigation into President Trump’s personal life and Russia — without evidence a crime was committed.

The Stalinist House Democrats are also seeking ten years of Trump’s tax returns in hopes of finding a crime.

And if that isn’t enough, Maxine Waters told reporters last week that her Committee will be investigating the Trump Foundation over ‘tax evasion concerns.’

Had enough yet, America?
