Richard Blumenthal was instrumental in helping Governor Dan Malloy ban the ownership and sale of the AR-15 rifle and I can personally attest that the lines at the gun shops prior to passage of that bill were unending and chock full of more state troopers and police officers than you could shake a baton at…not to mention the few who told me in confidence that if they were ordered to confiscate such a weapon from a legal gun owner, they’d most certainly disregard such a directive!
Despite the push to bankrupt firearms companies, Democrats first face the hurdle of convincing a gun-friendly Republican Senate of overturning the protective legislation. However, with the track records of George Soros, Adam Schiff and Dick Blumenthal, the chances are good that the undermining of protecting gun rights is well underway.
Nehemiah 4:16-17 explains the necessity for weapons in a peaceful society. As Nehemiah oversaw the rebuilding of the protective wall around Jerusalem and the enemies were outside the walls, watching the construction and warning the Jews that they were in danger, God instructed them to work with one hand on their hammers and one on their weapons:
And it came to pass from that time forth, that the half of my servants wrought in the work, and the other half of them held both the spears, the shields, and the bows, and the habergeons; and the rulers were behind all the house of Judah.
They which builded on the wall, and they that bare burdens, with those that laded, every one with one of his hands wrought in the work, and with the other hand held a weapon.
And despite this, still, the enemies on the outside attempted to coerce and bribe the officials in Jerusalem (because they had friends on the inside!) that Nehemiah and his builders should drop their weapons!
Sound familiar?
One more statistic…out of all the charts and graphs that you can find on Leftist websites, not a single one of them makes a delineation between gun violence committed by those with legal weapons versus illegal weapons. And there’s a very good reason for this. You see, gun violence in the US on any year chosen is nearly always committed by those with illegal, unregistered weapons! In fact, hammers, knives, drunk drivers and medical malpractice each kill more people than firearms every year…yet you’ll never hear a cry from the Left about these issues.
Many Liberals will say that the only purpose for buying a gun is hunting or killing humans. Of course, it’s absurd, but have they ever considered that not a single firearm company advertises their weapons for the taking of human life?
By that same thinking then, isn’t the only purpose for getting an abortion the taking of human life? Just wondering.

How did Adam Schiff become such a predominate Democrat in his first term and elected with around only 100,000 votes and narrowly winning election to Senate? What or who or how much made him a big player in Washington?
