CBS Legal Exec. on Vegas Deaths: No Sympathy ‘Because Country Music Fans Often are Republican’

I have been around the block a few times and can’t remember any specific call by any prominent (or even barely registering on the political voltage meter) Republican for the death(s) of Democrats.  I have not read about Republicans saying, “Good, they deserved it!” or “Well, it serves them right that Muslim terrorists killed them!”

It seems anathema to the very nature of Americans to wish ill on their fellow man (unless, of course, we’re talking about people like Osama bin Laden, which I must admit, I did on more than a few occasions).  I really have never even thought to myself, “Wow, Kim Jong-un would be better off dead.”  The world certainly would, there’s no denying that, but I have not actively wishing, hoping and praying for that.  I just wish he’d regain his sanity and, in that one moment of clarity, would just realize the idiocy of his words and actions.

There have been calls for nearly every single Republican president that I recall, going all the way back to Nixon, by some high-level Jackass Party member to assassinate him, whether it was the man who resigned after ending the Vietnam War, Ronald Reagan, George H.W. Bush, George W. Bush, and now Donald Trump.  There were calls, just this year alone (and musings by vapid, empty shell actors), to assassinate the 45th president in any number of ways.

From Madonna to Jim Carrey, Kathy Griffin, Johnny Depp, Snoop Dogg, Marilyn Manson, and Joss Whedon, to the producers of Shakespeare in the Park, these and (no doubt) many others have fantasized about killing Republicans.

This doesn’t even begin to scratch the surface of the many Communists and Regressives working in the Fake News Industrial Complex (FNIC) who absolutely detest anything on the Right, including (apparently) the very Americans who simply choose to vote their conscience (but only if their conscience happens to be Right-wing.

CBS Legal Executive Hayley Geftman-Gold decided to express her very transparent views about how worthless she considers the lives of folks like us who vote Republican.  We are pretty much, in her eyes, worms to be stepped on; in fact, we are most likely worth less than worms (especially if these particular worms happen to be “endangered”).

A top legal executive at CBS, Hayley Geftman-Gold, said she “is not even sympathetic” for the victims of the shooting at a country music festival at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas Sunday night.

“If they wouldn’t do anything when children were murdered I have no hope that Repugs will ever do the right thing,” wrote Geftman-Gold on Facebook, perhaps referring to Sandy Hook. “I’m actually not even sympathetic bc country music fans often are Republican gun toters.”

Later Monday, CBS announced that Geftman-Gold had been fired.

CBS has a history of hostility towards Republicans. Shortly after the attack on the GOP congressional baseball team gravely injuring Louisiana Rep. Steve Scalise in June, former CBS anchor Scott Pelley questioned whether the shooting was “foreseeable, predictable and to some degree, self-inflicted.”

The original thread was deleted, but not by Geftman-Gold.

I’m sure Geftman-Gold will be rewarded for her “brave stance” against evil Republicans by being shuffled quickly and quietly to another more sheltered cherry position in some Leftist office in New York City or Los Angeles.  She will be interviewed non-stop, if her new position will allow, in order to clarify that when she said she didn’t feel sympathy for these evil Right-wingers, it was only speaking out of frustration for the way the Republicans treat people of color, the LBGT community, foreigners and our Mother Earth.  She will receive a bunch of fawning coverage by the FNIC and then everything will be back to normal once again.

Perhaps the Department of Shadowy Endeavors (DSE) will be seeking a Legal Analyst very soon, what with all the news regarding the wiretap of Trump associates in Trump Tower.
