A White House petition to arrest Donald Trump for incitement has hit its goal.
While it is the wet dream of democrats to see the Donald and millions of their republican neighbors frog-walked for imaginary hate-speech, the White House should be above the fray in both it’s defense of the first amendment and they should insist on a modicum of dignity regarding White House petitions.
While casting an image of demagoguery on Donald Trump, President Obama seems content to passively stir passions in the electorate by encouraging his networks to circulate drivel such as this.
Nothing would lend more strength to the movement backing Donald Trump than an authoritarian “arrest” over some imaginary incitement.
The existence if this petition exemplifies what Trump supporters are railing against; A government that has lost it’s focus and a ruling class desperate to suppress their momentum in 2016.
See the next page for the ludicrous contents of this “petition.”
So there’d been a call for Hillary and Obama … What’s with that … TRUMP HASN’T DONE ANYTHING WRONG ….
They stand around screaming about what democracy looks like but want to arrest political opponents. The true colors of the left are showing.
we’ve been trying to arrest Hillary for years…what happened with that$#%&!@*..
Yup !!
LMAO i just read up on the case,.seriously they will get laughed out of court and give Trump grounds trying to violate his 1st amendment rights.
YOU KNOW HOW GREAT TRUMP IS….JUST BY WATCHING THE LEADER GET SO SCARED…HE’S TRYING TO BEG THE REST OF THE W.H. TO FALL IN THE FIRE WITH HIM AND HILLARY.
There are many issues regarding Donald Trump that cause me not to support him as the GOP nominee but there is one major trait in who Mr. Trump is that will cause me to never cast a vote in favor of him in any election including in November, and it’s his complete lack of dignity his unwillingness to show common respect and decency.
Secretary Clinton was a below average performing Senator in NY, and made a series of horrible errors in judgment as Secretary of State, that made her overall performance pretty pitiful. However, she is a former First Lady, she is a former United States Senator, and a former Secretary of State. Her years of Public Service, regardless of if we agree with her level of performance, entitle her to be addressed as “Secretary Clinton” or “Former Secretary Clinton.”
President Bill Clinton, was not our worse or our greatest President, and there are hosts of negatives that shadowed his presidency, but he completed two terms as the President of the United States and he deserves the respect to be referred to in a public forum as “Former President Clinton” or “Mr. President.” President Obama might actually go down as one of our worse Presidents but I bet if most of us were given the opportunity to address him in a public forum, our conversation would begin with “Mr. President. I know mine would.
United State Senators and Governors of states have all earned the distinction of being referred to as Senator and Governor or former regardless of which party they are affiliated, regardless of which candidate they choose to support, and even when you disagree.
The world is watching this election and the position of the United States of America in the world is not Republican or Democrat. My MINIMUM expectation from a candidate for the President of this nation is that he or she shows respect for our elected leaders and our Government officials especially in a public forum on a world stage.
When Trump refers to Former Secretary Clinton as Crooked Hillary, and Senator Cruz as Lying Ted in a Public Forum, I not only find it distasteful, but to not respect positions and office in Government is not Anti-Government or Anti-Candidate, it is just plain Anti-American. It is not just disrespectful to the individual it is disrespectful to the office and the positions. When Trump referred to Iowa voters as Stupid because he didn’t win the state, I found it Un-American and despicable.
Donald Trump, the only billionaire that I have ever heard say “I like to sue people for fun” has been disrespectful to the Pope, people with disabilities, Senator John McCain, many women based on appearance, and the list just goes on. Instead of calling the delegate system crooked and attacking everyone that holds an opinion that differs from his, Donald Trump might spend a little time wondering why more than 60% of Republicans vote against him.
If you feel that my opinion or position makes me ugly, poor, short, fat, stupid, or Left wing Liberal, my suggestion is that you examine what is in your own heart, who you have become as an individual and what best serves our Country.
This is Liberal hypocrisy at its finest…Liberals are a disease!!!
First of all, the petition is TO the White House, not instigated by the White Houses, so stop with the knee-jerk reactions. A citizen started the petition which quickly garnered the required 100k signatures and the White House just as quickly ignored it. Secondly, political speech is not Constitutionally protected. Trump could theoretically be charged for a speech inciting a riot or causing harm to others. Plus hate specch is not protected either..
YEH RIGHT————-
