Welfare is one of the most heated debates among American citizens. Those who believe it’s a poor use of government spending are always at odds with those who keep getting the checks in the mail. Anybody able to approach the topic from an outside perspective can see why the entire concept of welfare might be upsetting to people who actually work for a living.
While there might some rare cases where people actually need government assistance, a majority of Americans currently on welfare are either immigrants or people who don’t want to work because they the government keeps sending them money, like the 30-year-old mother from Baltimore who has been on welfare for 12 years.

I have recently worked in a home occupied by three generations of welfare recipients everyone had the latest cellphone boxes and boxes of expensive basket ball sneakers a BMW in the driveway and when lunchtime came they where trying to figure out what bodega to go to as one girl is bragging to another that she gets more money because she has more kids the youngest was only 2 what kind of person do you think he will become makes me sick that I have to work to support them

Since these people live off the government the government should institute a WPA type program. There has to be jobs the government contracts out that these people could do. The jobs may not pay great but the people would still retain a portion of welfare funding. If they chose not to participate their welfare would stop.
It’s not the government, it’s my money , your money, anyone who pays tax. And I don’t want my money give away. End welfare, get a job. I don’t care if you have twenty kids. Not my problem , if you can’t pay for them do have them . If you have a kid and can’t take care of it then it should poo Ulster be put up for adoption. If you have another you go to jail and the baby is put up for adoption.then woman will be more careful about having babies with no one or no way to take care of a child it’s a lifetime commitment. It is not someone else responsible to pay for someone else kids.
People like this should be given a choice go to work or go hungry there is no excuse for being that lazy
Hopefully there will be a end put to third and fourth generation welfare families. These leaches must be put to work…
