A writer at the Washington Post has a proposition to heal the racial divide: give blacks reparations in the form of having their vote count more than whites.
Theodore R. Johnson, current Ph.D candidate in law and policy at Northeastern University, believes the racial divide will not resolve until some form reparations are made.

All this is doing is furthering the welfare state which has been the worst kind of enslavement ever to be perpetrated on Black’s with the exception of abortion. Read the article I’m about to post. This is a serious disorder our black brothers and sisters are suffering from. This disorder is only paralyzing these people even more. There is no racism. The only reason the KKK and Neo-Nazis have come out is in defense of the insanity of BLM and Antifa. There are laws that prohibit racism. These are laws we all have taken seriously to obey them, not because they were laws, but because they are the right things to do. We haven’t forgotten. Our young people both black and white are being brainwashed into a fabricated reality. Our young people have been deprived of our history and struggles as a nation. They have been deprived of civic education. They have been deprived of so many things, but not from this country. They have been deprived by evil individuals determined to destroy our way of life. We will not be moved in our commitment to the betterment of the individual. The division encouraged by the Obama administration almost destroyed us. It didn’t work. It won’t work now. Why? Because I’m not going to tip toe around anymore and watch people being brought down to believe they are thought of as less than in any way. At the same time, I’ll not tolerate blame being placed on the innocent. I’ll no longer be concerned about political correctness. Political correctness is a lie and promotes insanity. There is no name I can be called that will allow me to remain in this madness. I will not be moved by any insult. I know what is right and what is wrong. Continually taking up slack for a black or brown or olive skinned people only imprisons them more. Life is hard on us all. It will hit us all when we least expect it. It will sucker punch everyone of us. Only those who have pulled themselves up by their boot straps will make it. Only those determined to make their dreams a reality will survive.
